Social bookmarking can be used for many reasons. My personal favorite is to use it for it abilities to have conversations, but if you have an online website, there is a lot more you can do with it. Whenever you contribute to a social bookmarking community, you get an opportunity to link to a page of your own, thereby increasing your inbound traffic and earning you higher positions in the results of all the major search engines.

Many software programs claim to automate your bookmarking at many different online bookmark sites. I always wondered whether they worked and what kind of results people were getting from them.

As things get more and more competitive it gets increasingly tougher to obtain the high a search engine rankings your website needs in order to get the volume of high quality traffic you demand so your business can be successful.  So finding a software solution which can help with this is of paramount importance.

Doing this manually is very time consuming because of all the steps:  signing up at every account, checking your email and confirming, highlighting the link, pasting it in the right field, entering your descriptions and tags and finally finishing it by submitting.
